Nursery Care is provided by a consistent staff member and carefully selected volunteers for infants through age four in room 107.
Each Sunday morning during the regular worship service, there is a special children’s message. This time is set aside for any children in the congregation. These few moments allow children to focus on the message of the Bible in a way that especially relates to them.
Although temporarily suspended, following the Children’s Moment in the sanctuary, kindergartners through second graders are invited to join Children’s Church in Room 106. Once in Children’s Church, they sing, participate in a lesson planned around the pastor’s Bible text of the day, and pray together. Children are either picked up at 10:15 a.m. following Traditional Worship or they can stay for Sunday School.
The Children of Central Church generally attend church camp at Santa Claus Campground in Santa Claus, Indiana. Our church has a long history with the camp and we are blessed to have such a wonderful place to share in the love of God and learn more about how he wants to live. Registration for summer camp takes place in the early Spring and can be accomplished through Miss Shannon, or at sccamp.org.
