Sunday Nights

Youth Group meets on Sunday nights from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the Youth Center upstairs (Rooms 204 & 213).   This time is led by Cynthia Jones and adult volunteers who love God and love spending time with students. During gathering time, students can choose to play a rec room game, talk or just hang out and use the free wifi. Typically, we eat first (we have our priorities!). Then, we do an activity of some sort, worship with music, talk about a scripture passage, and plan fun things and service projects coming up. Finally, we play a large group game. Everyone is welcome!

Sunday Mornings

We encourage our youth and their families to visit our new casual, contemporary service called The Kindling at 10:35 am each Sunday in the Garden Room (lower level) to enjoy good coffee, upbeat music, and interesting teaching from Pastor Kevin Reed.

Summer Camps

We connect middle and high school students with a variety of camps each summer. Middle school students often attend Camp Indicoso, a United Methodist camp between Bedford and Bloomington, Indiana. High school students have the option of attending “That Thing” at Epworth Forest, a United Methodist Camp in the northern part of the state. Normally, camps last nearly a week. The best part is that camps are a great way to help youth encounter Christ in a way that they have never before experienced. You can find general camp information at www.beacamper.com.  If you would like more information on attending a camp week this year, please contact Cynthia Jones.

Youth Mission Trip

We take an annual mission trip to explore God in different contexts and meet other youth from around the country. Of course, these trips also provide great opportunities to help people who are in need. Previously, we have participated in both service-oriented and construction mission trips.
